Description

Coenzyme Q10 (CoQ10) is a naturally occurring, fat-soluble quinone compound that serves as a vital component in cellular energy production and electron transport. Chemically classified as 2,3-dimethoxy-5-methyl-6-decaprenyl-1,4-benzoquinone, CoQ10 exists in two primary redox states: the oxidized form (ubiquinone) and the reduced form (ubiquinol). This redox versatility enables its fundamental role in mitochondrial ATP synthesis and cellular antioxidant protection.

Coenzyme-Q10-(CoQ10)-(3)

From an extraction and production standpoint, commercial CoQ10 is obtained through three principal methods:

1. Fermentation-derived production (most common):
Utilizes specialized yeast strains (Sporidiobolus johnsonii) or bacteria
Yields >98% purity with controlled isomeric form (trans-configuration)
Typical production scale: 50-100 metric tons annually

2. Plant tissue extraction:
Primary sources include tobacco leaves and soybean germs
Lower yield (0.002-0.005% wet weight basis)
Requires complex purification protocols

3. Chemical synthesis:
Solvent-based synthesis from solanesol and hydroquinone
Cost-effective but may contain isomeric impurities

The molecular structure features

A benzoquinone head group (redox-active center)

A 10-unit isoprenoid side chain (C50H81)

Product Processing

Standard and Certificates

All of our products are made in a GMP-compliant facility where every step of production is carefully managed. Over the years, our factory has passed several well-recognized audits, including HACCP, ISO22000 and ISO9001. The products also meet Kosher and Halal requirements, and we hold FDA registration as well. These certifications reflect the standards we follow rather than just labels we collect—they’re part of how we ensure consistency and safety in every batch.

Free Sample Available

If you’d like to get a feel for the product before placing an order, we can send you a free sample. In most cases, we provide around 10–20 grams so you can evaluate the quality yourself. For items with higher raw material costs, we will confirm the exact amount we can offer so everything is clear before shipping.

Standard Packaging and Private Label

For regular shipments, we usually pack goods in 1–5 kg aluminum foil bags, 10–20 kg cartons, or 10–30 kg fiber drums, depending on the item and order size.
If you’re planning to sell under your own brand, we also handle private labeling. We can help design and produce packaging with your logo or artwork so the products arrive ready for retail. Many customers find this saves them a lot of time compared with printing and repacking on their end.

Shipping Method

Orders under one metric ton are generally shipped through major express couriers such as DHL, FedEx, UPS or EMS. For larger quantities, we can arrange transport by sea or railway. The best method depends on your location and how quickly you need the goods, so we’ll help you choose the most practical option.

After Sale Services

Most of our products remain stable for up to two years, and we guarantee their quality within that period. If anything arrives below your expectations, our return process is straightforward. You can send back the portion in question, and we will refund the corresponding amount—no complicated procedures or hidden conditions.
